Johnny is a 2 year old Border Collie / Jack Russel Terrier cross that started flyball at a young age. Johnny is technically
owned by Elsie Wesdyk, but Cheryl Partridge is the person who runs him in flyball and mostly trained him. Johnny is a fun dog to work with. He is ball driven, but
also loves a rabbit fur tug or anything that squeaks.
Johnny ran his first tournament at a Flyball N-R-G tournament in Winnipeg Manitoba on May 6th of 2006, on the PDQ Prairie Chickens team. He proved himself and we changed their name to Prairie Fire. We took him there not knowing if he would run or not, as he had not done much two lane racing before that. Johnny proved himself to us by running every race, both days of the tournament. And since then, he has proved himself every tournament. Johnny's best time has been a 4.4 second run on 9 inch jumps. But, we usually use him as our height dog, so he normally runs a 4.7 on 11 inch jumps.
