|
INGREDIENTS:
2 cans of turkey, chicken or tuna, juice included
between 2 and 2 1/2 cups of flour
2 eggs
garlic powder
parmesan cheese
Mix all ingredients until dough is the consistency of biscuit dough. Spread on a greased cookie sheet so it is about 1/4 inch thick. Cook at 275 F for 25 minutes. It should be a bit
hard on the top but still soft through the middle.
Cut into desirable pieces with a pizza cutter or knife and serve. Put extras into sealable containers and freeze. Take it out just before you go to class. Dogs like them

Soft and Chewy Liver Treats
|
INGREDIENTS:
Liver (any amount up to 1 lb.)
1 egg
1 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. water
2 or more crushed cloves of fresh garlic
1.5 cups flour mixed with 1 tbsp. baking powder
Cut semi frozen liver into big chunks. Eliminate "strings" if possible. Add to food processor gradually. Add everything else except the flour. Then slowly add the flour
until you get a soft pasty dough.
Spread out evenly into a greased cookie sheet or Pyrex dish.
Spread the dough 1/4 inch thick. Then bake at 350 F for 7 minutes. Watch it like a hawk. The middle will look wet and dark but keep touching it until it just dries and pushes back - just enough to be
done. Otherwise you get leather edges.
Turn it out onto a large board and cut long thin strips. Bunch them together and cut cubes.
